I will always regret not having a chance to meet Kurt Schaffenberger in person. Whether on Lois Lane, Super Friends, his terrific run of covers for the American Comics Group or any of his Captain Marvel work (golden or bronze age) he was one of the best illustrators in comics.
Thank you,Joe Bloke, for all the wonderful imagery.
I am afraid that "Blogger's" new idea of ruining the viewing experience will lead to fewer visits
from me.
This is a fun little story, the last (as Supergirl notes) in a series of tales about interfering members of the Superman Family trying to get the hero married off. It plays a lot like an I LOVE LUCY episode.
Anyone: to what Blogger "new idea" is Anonymous referring?
anonymous, just right click and open in new window/tab. it's annoying, I know, I'm fucking fuming about it, but there doesn't appear to be anything I can do.
Gene, if you're not experiencing it, don't you worry, mate.
Chuck, you'll get no argument from me, chum.
Dear Joe Bloke.
Of course!I feel like an ass.
Thank you! You're right.I right click and everything is allright! All the best,Mr Bloke.

Lois' secret helper isn't quite as effective as Santa's little helper I suppose, but what a lovely Krypto story! Yeah, that Superman family wwas just queuing up to get him with Lois. Didn't Jimmy and Lucy even try once?
There's was no-one quite like Mr Kurt Schaffenberger - he's up there with the greats as far as I'm concerned.
I've sent a link of this page to the silver aged Lois Lane yahoo group.
cheers, mate!
