I get that Vampirella is known as a force for good, but I have to admit it's surreal seeing those nuns helping her out and having nice looks in their eyes.

Shades of Roy Thomas! I would have loved to see Alan Davis tackle Marvel Comics bronze age series, The Invaders. That WWII-era pic of Captain America, Sub-Mariner and The Human Torch alongside the other "Timely Comics" heroes looks great.

Dang... i'm on a ROLL this week on your blog. LOL!!

I colored that Davis/Wolverine cover posted above.

My fav. work with him was on that THOR: Truth of History, stand alone we did a few years ago.

Jared, ordinarily, mate, if I saw a nun I'd run a mile, but, hey! any friend of Batman's is a friend of mine. . .

Chuck, hell! yes! I'd buy that!

david, I love my ANY Killraven, but, yep, that one's sweet, alright.

Rob, you're a bit of a star, on the side, ain't'ch'ya, mate? I've never read THOR: Truth of History; reckon I'm gonna have to go check it out, now. . .

Davis is so awesome - thanks for posting this, joe.
And just let me say that you have to read Thor: Truth of History. It's 100% fun , and reads like a really good Bronze Age annual.

Joe, LOL!!! A star...? Not even close, man. Although if I keep seeing my work up here, i might start getting a swelled head.... heh

I'm just a working stiff trying to earn a living by working on funny books.

Snag a copy of the THOR: Truth book. It's not bad.

Joe, that's a hell of a change up top; not that I'm lamenting the retirement of your earlier Captain America blogtopper.

Anything prominently featuring boobs works for me. As a suggestion, you outta run some of the latest Page 3 gals in a Fit Birds post [hint].

I don't know any of the latest Page 3 bird, Chuck, but, you know, just for you, mate, I'll certainly check 'em out.

and it looks like the Thor book's on the cards. . .
