William Hartnell. Patrick Troughton. Jon Pertwee. Tom Baker. Peter Davison. Colin Baker. Sylvester McCaoy. Paul McGann. Christopher Eccleston. David Tennant. Matt Smith. And, oc course, Peter Cushing.
I'll go on record now that Tom Baker was always me favourite Doctor, but of those we've had since the whole big relaunch thing I've gotta say that, despite all my initial misgivings, I really do like Matt Smith.

William Hartnell...the REAL Doctor Who. A mysterious stranger who nobody's sure exactly whose side, if anyone's, he's on. (At least originally - they softened him into a kindly grandfather figure later on.)
Wish they'd go back to that idea.
Though Peter Cushing was the first Doctor I saw (via Saturday afternoon showings on WPIX in New York), my favorite is Jon Pertwee.
Eccentric, but heroic; and the best Inverness cape since Sherlock!
(I wish he kept the slouch hat he wore in "Spearhead from Space"...)
Patrick Troughton was the first Dr I encountered, so I'll always have a soft spot for him. My earliest TV memory is of his first ever adventure; Power of the Daleks. It's a shame so few of his stories still exist.
Jon Pertwee, with Tom Baker a close second. And yes, that's because I saw their Doctors first.
Of the new Doctors, I love Matt Smith the most. Of the old show, I've mostly seen William Hartnell's stories (because I'm OCD enough to watch every story in chronological order), so he's my other favorite. I love how he's a trickster and plays his enemies off of each other. Brilliant.
