I bought every one of those off the newsstand way back when. Gawd, those were great days to buy and read comics.

Nice post! I've not seen several of these Adams covers. Thank you for sharing.

Joe, I'm going to be visiting Neal Adams tomorrow and plan on having him sign at least two of the covers that you've posted - Ms. Mystic #1 and Conan the Barbarian #37.

Joe, sometimes I almost - almost - forget I used to be 8-12 years old, then you stick up a load of old comic covers from yesteryear and suddenly I'm salivating like a dog.

For a kid of 8-12 seeing all those covers of comics you once briefly owned or hope someday to at least read, it's akin to sniffing neat crystal meth - even more intense than secretly looking at and kissing all those semi-naked ladies in the lingerie section of your mother's shopping catalogues.

originally, the plan was to run a series of posts that would make up every single cover Neal Adams had ever done, in order. but that's just too many covers. way too many.

Thomas, I couldn't agree with you more. and Chuck, I am officially jealous. get a sketch!!!
