joe bloke said...: Don was a great artist. he just wasn't suited to superheroes. you look at the romance/mystery/crime comics he did while he was at Timely, and that stuff easily stands up with Kirby, or Ditko, I think.; 28 April 2011 18:09

However, while this may fall under the category of "too obvious to bother mentioning" I'll say it anyway for the sake of history: the first page is Kirby pencils inked by Heck. I love that team and wish we had even more of them working together.; 30 April 2011 03:09
