Shit me. I've had this in my attic all these years and didn't even realise it.

I still can't access your blog direct from my page - I have to re-route through a proxy server before I can get to it. At least I can use the long way.

Anyway, this looks familiar. I have a feeling I may have lettered a few stories in this issue. If CURSITOR DOOM is in this comic, that's one of mine. You once featured some pages I lettered under an alias - must confess I got a bit of a thrill.

Keep up the good work. I hope you occasionally find something worth reading on my blog.

I remember buying this in WHSmiths and being deeply disappointed at how thrown together it was.

Every story read like one of those freebies they include in other comics or trade magazines to promote a new comic.

I didn't blame the writers or the artists - I blamed 2000AD: it felt as if someone'd briefly woken up and gone, "Wait - is it Christmas or Summer yet? Better put out a money for old rope special, then! Go down and have a look if the binmen've taken away all those old pitches I threw out yesterday..."

Kid: still?

yep, Cursitor Doom was in the same mag. I put up The Spider one from the same issue a couple of posts back. what was the thing you lettered under an alias?

borky: gotta disagree with you, mate. I really liked this when it came out. I was hoping for more of The Spider and Mytek, but, alas, no.

Can't say, alas. Nobody knows we're the same person. (Except me and the editor of course.) Maybe one day.
