Kane was served well by a whole load of great inkers ( although he himself said that he hated it when someone else inked his work ), and there was that beautiful little period when he was at Marvel that they kept chucking his work Klaus Janson's way. there's the Daredevil stuff, of course, and that great Defenders Annual, but, yeah, this is probably my favourite of their collaborations.

This was the first issue of WHAT IF that I read (missed the first two issues) and I loved it! Some of the greatest story-telling Marvel did in the 70's came from this title!

Thank you for posting this and bringing back wonderful memories.
