This reminds me of an early version or prototype of what was to be the "Incredible Hulk".I notice that Lee and Kirby evolved a lot of their monsters and aliens into later superheroes;the Thing,Hulk,Silver Surfer, etc.Budd

Take a look at page 6, panel 5.

Talk about "Hello cheeky!"

For a 'split' second there - pardon the pun - I thought I was looking at the world's first recorded instance of green workman's bum.

It made me wonder what the alien had in mind with that clenched fist of his.

Then I realised Greenie was really stooped over facing THIS WAY - but that only set me wondering where the fist out of sight was.

Man, I used to have such an innocent mind until I went on the internet.

Thanks for posting my absolute favorite Lee/Kirby monster story. I wish there was a Mr. Morgan's Monster action figure...

Budd, they did, yeah. there's a Spider-Man, too, I think.

borky, you're not a well man. you might wanna get that looked at.

Steveland, holy crap, yeah. how cool would a whole line of action figures of old Lee/Kirby monsters be? I'd buy 'em.
