Fantastic Joe, great stuff as usual --

heh heh, your entire page was blocked by my servers here in the Far East ever since you posted that 'racist' "Twisted Tales" story recently...

heh heh....I had to re configure at my side to access your blog again ! Heh heh....

On another point, I love all the Basil Wolverton stuff you post -- can you advise a collected volume of his work to buy? Surfing the net, I see either Bible stuff he has done ( Is it good? ) and Crumb like cartoon-y stuff ( not that keen ) , but I can't find the really nuts style of almost Kafka-esque Wolverton stuff that you have posted.

Any advice?

Thanks,

GnosticMind.

PS Joe, I am guessing most of the space stories of Wolverton's on your pages are from the following collected volume ?

Am I right?

http://www.amazon.com/Wolverton-Space-Basil/dp/1569712387/ref=sr_1_8?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1294474859&sr=1-8

Thanks for tips,

Gnostic.

Gnostic, I've not seen the Wolverton in Space book before, so I can't say what's in it, but I'm guessing it's probably the Meteor Morgan and Spacehawk stuff, which is all pretty cool. The Bible book's lovely ( if you scroll back through the posts on this site, you'll find one that features some of it, at least ), and I'd suggest seeking out the Dark Horse comics that reprinted a load of his old freaky strips: Basil Wolverton's Gateway to Horror/Basil Wolveron's Planet of Terror/Basil Wolverton's Fantastic Fables # 1 & 2. have fun!
