Joe, thanks again for introducing all these classics to us. I have been reading comics for about fourty years, and the selection you provide is consistently original, finding stuff I'd never heard of. Thanks indeed.

Another brief question -- I recently found I have a huge stack of UK release Alan Class comics which look like they date back to to the late 60's -- do you know anything about these titles? Are they worth anything, either artistically or otherwise in your view? It is very hard to work out the background /raison detre of these comics, since they seem to mix up comics from so many sources, from high quality work, to weird folk art to just plain badly written/drawn.

Thanks for your opinion Joe,

GnosticMind.

Yep. It's the Tits. It's what the Street's all about!

Gnostic, mate, as far as I know the Alan Class comics aren't actually worth much, unless you can find someone who collects Alan Class comics ( I could be wrong ), but I remember that I used to love them as a kid, especially the sci-fi/horror ones that used to reprint the old Charlton/Atlas stuff, like Suspense and Sinister Tales and Journey into Danger. These were the places that I first read all them great old Lee-Kirby-Ditko pre-Marvel classics. Great comics, at the time, as I recall. I wish I still had all my old ones, but you know what it's like when you're a nipper! You lucky man!
