Don't. Just don't. It's fucking awful. Honest, I'm not kidding. & it's not just me being grumpy old comic guy ( again), either. Straight up, this is, without a doubt, the very worst Superman comic ever. Yes, that's right. EVER. And let's face it, given that we've had - what is it now? - three or four years of the worst Superman comics ever, that's a pretty fucking big ever.
Truly, truly shit.
ok. a quick edit. I was thinking maybe I was being a little unfair, so I went back in and read it a second time, and guess what? it's still shit.

I hate to say this because it means I have to put some comic lower on the list than Morrison's stupid 'Return of Bruce Wayne'. I thought that I wouldn't find anything to hate worse than that cat barf mini-series but this is it. You called it right. Nothing to say but WHY? JMS - you lost you mojo - first Spider-Man 'Brand New Day', Then this, then you leave the crappy 'walking Superman' story to write a SEQUEL to 'Earth One'. Bleh!

Just recently looked into this so-called great new Superman story in recent memory...
Yawn...
Very dull.
Let's see if Batman Earth One might fare better than this.
The art is crap, the tone, twilightesque... But:
This book is a goot method to "recruit" new readers, and, under the unfavorable circumstances, the script is not quite bad.
(sorry, my english is very bad)
Looked through it- not worth bothering. Hell, he looks like he just turned sixteen!
This guy's work is never more than derivitive, yet the editorial staff at the Big Two seem to think he's high end stuff, worth giving the keys to the family silver. I just don't get it.
Yeah, I just plain don't get it.
Is DC slipping again???
You guys need to link on over to my editorial comment on this (Points of Departure) and see just how much I agree with you.
