The Trigan Empire strips written by Mike Butterworth and painted by Don Lawrence have all been collected into gorgeously-produced hardback editions by the Don Lawrence Collection in the Netherlands - see http://triganempire.co.uk/home/

Fantastic post, Joe! That's a lot of scans - thanks for the hard work!
I've got this strip in the 1973 Fleetway annual, The Look And Learn Book Of The Trigan Empire. One of my most treasured ( comics ) possessions. Don Lawrence was a genius but sadly never received enough appreciation here in the UK.

Thanks.

this story is destined for the silver screen! especially if the props and scenery stay true Don Lawrence's vision. ... note about your scans: why doesn't the first page image open to a larger graphic?

ah, hell, Krow, sorry about that, mate. problem here is that I only keep scans of already posted stuff on my computer for a month after, and then they're deleted, so I don't have the first page to re-upload. bummer!

still, glad you're a fan of Lawrence. there really was/is no one else like him. Alex Ross needs to be taking notes!
