Happy Halloween!!!

It's Halloween. And to celebrate this, the most bum-puckering of days, here on the Street we're having a bumper post of proper ghostly goings-on.  from Tower of Shadows # 1, we have Stan Lee and Jim Steranko's At the Stroke of Midnight. from The Brave & the Bold # 79, it's the first meeting of Batman and Deadman, in Bob Haney and Neal Adams' awesome The Track of the Hook. & from Eerie # 11, it's Wally Wood's comic adaptation of Karl Freund's 1932 masterpiece The Mummy.

Right. I'm off to go scare the nippers.

Steranko (great minds think alike, huh?), Adams, and Wood! You've outdone yourself today, my friend. That Batman/Deadman story is an all-time fave. I'd never had the pleasure of reading Wood's adaptation of the Mummy before--it's far-out, man!

Have a happy!

Thanks! 'At The Stroke Of Midnight' is one of my favorite horror anthology stories. I loved the old Batman Brave & The Bold stories. The Mummy adaption was a nice surprise! All in all, a very nice Halloween present!

Oh you plonk! What did I tell you about downloading all that porn..?? Now you've taken out the whole street. What are you like? All you had to do was say & would've sent you over all of mine.

Hmmm...might have needed a bigger hard drive though ;P

Anyway good to see you back. I'm just about to peruse your comics cause I need a rest. Been dumped with all 8 neices & nephews tonight. So far they've watched Dog Soldiers....The Life of Brian...Queen of the Damned & The Evil Dead. I had to put my foot down at Saw. The youngest's only 6 :)

Love, Me
